I recently noticed my front tire on my right side was worn very badly, and I doubt it was taking too many right hand corners.  Made me start to think, it could have been from my suspension.  My right fork seal was blown during my ride though 36, which may have been responsible for this wear.

But I couldn't find anything under this link.

Mel told me one time I didn't have my suspension tuned right due to a wear pattern in my rear tire's sipe grooves.  I never saw the wear as an issue.  Doesn't appear to be an issue based on these either.

Good link Vr!
It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

A DRAGON

I DON'T THINK YOU EVER GET YOUR TYRES UP TO TEMPERATURE WHILE  RIDING ON THE STREET. SO YOU NEVER REALLY GET YOU FULL TYRE WEAR OUT OF YOU TYRES. THAT BEING SAID. I GENERALLY TRY TO WEAR THE TYRES OUT ON THE SIDES FIRST.  SO I TAKE OFF VERY SLOW AND GRADUALLY PICK UP MY SPEED TO SAVE THE CENTER OF THE TYRE.

I KNOW I RIDE SOME WHAT DIFFERENT THAN SOME RIDERS. I LIKE GETTING ALL MY BREAKING DONE (IF I BREAK AT ALL ) BEFORE I START THE TURN.  THEN AS I ENTER THE TURN I FIND THE  THE NEUTRAL PART OF THE THROTTLE THEN CRACK IT OPEN AS I ENTER THE TURN.  THEN BEFORE THE APEX I BEGIN TO ROLL ON THE THROTTLE OUT OF THE TURN.  THAT GENERALLY WEARS THE SIDES FASTER. BUT NEVER TO THE FULL EDGE AND I'M COOL WITH THAT.   I LOVE THE SOUND OF THAT TWIN WHEN THE GAS IS ON. IT'S THE ONLY MUSIC I NEED WHEN RIDING.

KEEPING YOUR PROPER TYRE INFLATION IS KEY I THINK.  SUSPENSION AND FORK SET UP DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE.  BUT FOR THE MOST PART YOU SHOULD WEAR OUT 2 REARS TO ONE FRONT.  SOMETIMES I DID HAVE TO CHANGE THE FRONT.  DIDN'T GET THE 2 TO 1 RATIO I JUST SPOKE OF. THAT'S COOL. I BELIEVE WE ALL ARE TRYING TO GET AS MANY MILES AS WE CAN FROM OUR CHOSEN TYRES.  I KNOW I'M HAPPY WITH 5000 OUT OF MY REARS.  JUST REMEMBER THIS "WHEN YOU WEAR YOUR TYRES TO THE WEAR BARS. CHANGE THEM.  IT'S NOT WORTH RISKING YOU BIKE BECAUSE YOU TRYING TO GET MORE MILES OUT OF YOUR WORN OUT TYRES. "  JUST TRY AND DO A BETTER JOB AT TYRE MANAGEMENT NEXT TIME.

I can't ever recall having my rear wear out before my fronts.  It's always been my front, My FZ6 and now my Multi, which is currently my 2nd set, I wore out the front before the rear on the OEM tires as well.
