How bout Saturday? I was planning on going chukar hunting Sunday.

I'm assuming you mean the 25th? Today is the 20th so it would be hard to have it on the 18th unless you want to wait til next year...  :)

Oneup

I won't be able to make it on Saturday unless it is later in the evening.  I am available all day on Sunday though.

I'll volunteer to instruct which bikes should get tech stickers again. Or do whatever else SSA needs, short of cleaning the port-a-potties.

I have a list for Instructors. I hope I don't hurt any one's feeling's. I'm looking for people who are very approachable and very smooth at riding on the track. Every instructor will be on a probationary basis for all of this year. They will be judge on a case by case basis. I have put Justin Mastalka as head Instructor.  They will have to follow his lead in this. I'm doing this because I was really impressed by the way he worked so diligently at our last track day. He was helping 3 riders at a time. So I thought if he could teach us on how to instruct just one we could be way ahead.
1. Tom Johnson
2. John Parasina
3. Mike Cullen
4.Jerome Segar
5. Andy Allen
6. Kay Vetter
7. Dave White
8. Greg Parks
9. Mike Metcalf
10. Eddie (with Justin and RFR )

I thought it would make more sense to use these Instructors for Tech duties as well. I want to keep them working for their track time.
I'll still some people for the Grid managers.  I'm looking at 3 to 4 people to do it all the time. So if some one can't make it they can let the other know. That should relieve some of the pressure on myself and let them handle that aspect of the Track day. This way it can leave more time for others to ride. I would still like to have some Track Monitors out on course as well. We will go over that in our next SSA General Meeting.
We should have a General Meeting Real soon. I'll speak with Alberto and see if we can schedule something on Sunday Feb. 1st at La Vecchia. Hopefully that date will work for most.

+1000 on Justin as head dewd. He was one of the coolest cats I have ever met at the track, and ALWAYS willing to help and talk to people. He has absolutely NO ego and has the greatest attitude out there...even when he is hurting.

Hey Jerome -
Feb 1st is the Superbowl so you may want to think again about scheduling a meeting on that day. Just a thought. :)

What the superbowl and why is it more important then an SSA meeting?
